Sherando Lake unavailable so we stayed off road here for Labor day weekend.

Originally came here because John and Mary Starrick were camp hosts here and told me about Jeff who was a local RV Repair guy. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and had to retire. But we stayed anyways, and John and Mary invited us to several dinners where we met many of the other volunteer folks.

Great place to free camp on New River...sites are old not directly on river but walking distance. Not too far from Beckly WV where all amenities are there.
